Please read the [rules]. Using internet shorthand, such as "u", is forbidden. English only in the forums.

Now that we're through the initial phase...

Welcome to RomUlation! I take it that you are one of those people who love everything Japanese despite never having set foot in said country nor understanding the language nor even kana. I am exempt from that definition as I've just recently visited Japan and I'm learning Japanese from my grandfather and online. But I'm taking a break from that to learn... Esperanto! Anyways, I hope you stay with us unlike 95% of the people who made an Introductions post. As well, I see you are fond of abusing your tilde key. You know what that means in Japanese? Same as a dash, I believe. That means your sentences will be pronounced like so:

    Sankyuu minnaaaaaaagghhhhh!
I'll stick around here as long as i cannnnnnnnnnnn!
    I am also J-rock loverrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Enjoy, and don't get on my bad side.

    welcome to the forums.
if you need help with anything DS related, feel free to ask, but be sure to use the search function before asking.

some questions have already been asked, and already answered, and one of your questions might be one that was already asked...and answered.

    I have a question...
    wtf is sankyuu?

If it's what I think it is,
    it's extremely racist and un-educated...

I believe it's Japanese slang for "thank you". I'm not sure, though.

    If that's the case,
I'd like to know how many natives actually use it...

    I'm guessing none...

    Sankyuu
    Thankyou
If you say it, it kinda sounds like thank you with a s.

  17. Born2killx

Well, there isn't a "th" noise in Japanese.

I know. I just said it sound like thank you with an s. Also i think he made an error and missed out an o and added a u, the keys are only one key away from each other.

    And?

    I don't think it's a phrase that's used at all in Japan...
    Though I may be wrong...
But if I was to say "Herro" is Japanese slang for Hello,
    would you believe me?

I hope you see my point...
    I think whoever coined "Sankyuu",
meant it as a racist remark...

It's the English "Thank You" warped to
    fit the Japanese phonetic system...

"ou" would be a more rounded sound: oh-oo (fast)
and the phrase wouldn't sound like the English.
Hence the "uu" which is like a long oooooh
