Hacking iPod touch 4G?

    Ok, searched all sites I know but I don't want to put my device at risk.

    Is there a site that's known to work, to jailbreak your iPod Touch 4G?

    Model: 4G (duh)
    iOS: 4.2.1 (yeah fuck me)
    PC: Windows XP (32-bit)

    I know about redsn0w and all...is this guide legitimate?

    I wouldn't trust it...AFAIK you can't hack the 4G the same way as the rest...if at all. =/

    Yes you can...I hacked it just a while ago..

    Redsn0w successully did the trick.

    BUT now, Cydia won't start. How to fix this?

    Nevermind, I quited hacking since I almost broke my iPod.

    I know how to fix Cydia & make redsn0w work on Vista.

    Just enable XP SP2 compatibility mode, run as admin and after jailbreaking run the iPod in Tethered mode (using redsn0w)

    Now restoring it.
