Hey guys I'm completely ingnorant about this... Does your game gets damaged or something if you have a hacked pokemon?
Well it depends on what cheat you use like hack the game change script put pokemons in but doing this will make many glitches to the game or nothing but u will be lucky not to get anything.
He asked for one hacked Pokemon specifically. They won't let you use hacked Pokemon in Tournaments and stuff, but you'd have to really mess up to harm the game any.
It's certainly possible. There are programs to help you do it with little danger but there is still the potential to corrupt your save file should you modify things too heavily.
Hacked a dozen times and I've had no problem. But to be on the safe side, never EVER hack an actual cart
Having hacked pokemon, no. Hacking your game with an AR or something and then running into places you shouldn't be in (yet), or messing at all with in-game events that are dependent on other events (for example, not triggering an earlier event so that it triggers a later event) most likely will screw up your game if you save it. Will it actually harm your cartridge? No. We're past the gameshark days that ruins cartridges over long periods of use (like my RBY Pokemon games). Anyone that got caught with hacked pokemon in a tournament is an idiot. If you make them right, and stick to easy setups like bred pokemon (not Wish Hypno or anything from RSE having Trashbytes or events with Mystery Gift IDs, or shinies), then you really can't get caught. Other common-sense stuff applies, like having the dates that they were hatched spaced far apart, or not having more than 6 pokemon all Poketransferred from RSE to 4th gen on the same day, and don't have super high IVs on anything not hatched, etc. @Pipaxy, You gotta have finesse when it comes to hacking. If you're just starting the whole hacking thing, either do it right or don't do it at all. Sloppy hacking with an AR is just half-assed and most people will just disconnect on sight of a blatantly hacked pokemon.
I know. If you hack it so that it is detectable is when you start having a possibility of game corruption as well.
Except not really. Hacking pokemon will not corrupt your save. Hacking where you are in the game, using pretty much anything AR related has that possibility. Hacking with Pokegen or Pokesav, will not corrupt if you're just editing .PKM files. (which is the least amount of modifications involved, which is what the OP wants) However, if you screw with the coordinates, then you'll have problems with appearing in nonexistent areas and that's where you'll corrupt your save. Anyone that has gotten their save corrupted by either Pokesav or Pokegen was messing with something not .PKM related, like Pokedex entries, badges, current location, key items, other bullshit like that.
