guitar hero grip not working need help (One Button)

I have the proper guitar hero guitar grip and i have had it for a long time. The red button isn't responding when i press it so i need help fixing it so can you post any solutions so that i can get it to work anything will be appreciated .
Never used so many SO's in a post.

Throw guitar hero away. The damned game is over-rated and anyone can program a game like that.

But if you do want to save it, unscrew it and see what's up.

No and if it did doesn't matter iv'e got one just in case my ds breaks.

 

That's generally the idea. It's designed cheap to break easily. Then you get to buy a new one when your product inevitably breaks. The company wins.

Try blasting it with come compressed air maybe some dust build up or debris got in there, might try it if you decide to dissemble it too...couldn't hurt.

 

I disassembled it today after school no dust or anything so i put it back together and it just starts working. Wierd right?
Ages ago i did it with my DS Lite because the L button stopped working so i took it apart then putm it together then it started working.
