    (Right, after I contributed a website apparently good enough to warrant a sticky and get a karma point [what exactly is the situation with those, anyway, other than the obvious good/bad part?], now I decide to post up an introduction thread. :-\)

    Yeah, I'm here after looking all over the place for certain NDS ROMs, and I'll be hanging around for a little bit. I'm nowhere near new to the idea of forums or emulation, though, so don't mistake me for a newbie!

    So...hi.

    Well no one said introductions are needed, they're just a nice way to get to meet the people who hang around here a lot. :)

    But yeah, you've already contributed some good content to the community. (thus your karma :p)

    So those points come from helping out the community? Any other reason for them?

    Karma is the Staff Team's way of rewarding users for doing good deeds to help the community, or punishing those who do bad things. Only actions on the forum result in karma, elsewhere on the site we have other ways of rewarding.
