GTA CTW wireless Help!

So my brother and I wanted to play wireless together so we went to multicard play. I hosted (using the patched rom for cyclods) and he tryed to join (using the patched rom for r4). For some reason we were not able to connect to each other and I also noticed that I was just able to go back while when he tryed to press pack nothing happened so he had to reboot the game again. Any help on getting the multi-card play going would be much appreciated ty.

 

First, try to update your CycloDS firmware to 1.54 and use a clean rom. It may help.

 

ok but im not sure if its the cyclo ds or the r4 that is having the problems since the r4 cant go back after u press multi card play and start it up

 

ya i think its the r4 because i have a patched version of gta ctw whiched i did myself switching the arm 7 and 9 would new ones but i still do not know wat to do

 

um can someone help me!!!!

 

Maybe thats why the ARM7 messes up the wifi for the game.....because if the ARM7 file is different, then maybe its like having a totally different game in, so its looking for a nintendo server that doesnt exist for that modded game. Speculation only.

omfg it says can not open file that always happens wen i download from megaupload

 

and the trial version of winrar said it was damaged

 

uh do i have to buy the full thing?

 

Try to download the rom again. It may have gotten corrupted some how during the download process.

 

could u give me a link to download the newer winrar?
