gta 4 in japan, good or bad?

capcom is publishing gta 4 for the japanese people. is this a smart move for capcom or a deadly move?

Explain how it could become deadly. It's been released in America; no issue there. So why would it be any different in Japan? I guess the game works everywhere. Although the cool voice acting will be gone.

 

they don't look like the kind of people to play those type of games.
just as you don't often see americans going hyped out about certain things from other parts of the world.

GTA will be a hit with the Japanese, believe me.

Yeah it doesn't have that Anime-ish feel to it, but it has one thing that the Japanese will love. Action, which of course also includes violence & dare I say it? Sex.

Don't think the only form of entertainment in Japan is Anime and Manga. Those are just the only two that foreigners actually notice.

 

Obviously a smart move. It's not like the Japanese have no idea what Grand Theft Auto is or never played it before.

 

It won't be nearly as successful as it was in, say, North America, but I doubt it will flop.
