GTA 3 "unhandled exception"

    I have a problem with GTA 3 when running it on my PC.
    Whan i start it up, the screen goes black and a magnified version of my taskbar comes up and it doesent start. I then press CTRL ALT DEL to stop it and it tells me "unhandled exception c0000005 at adress 00581aa4" please help!

    update your graphics drivers, if that doesnt help then test your ram.

    Update your graphic drivers ?
    Just check the official site for your graphic driver, or you can search for it.

    You need to know the brand of your Graphic Drivers first.

    I read in another forums that this might be the problem with the OS that you're using.
    Maybe you need to use the Compatibility mode.

    I have Windows 7 and if I play GTA San Andreas without the Compatibility for Windows 98 it only shows Black Screen, that might be the same case with you.
