GRID Problem!

Ok for starters I'm running M3 DS Simply Firmware 1.14. I downloaded GRID and whenever I beat the first race or any race in the three zones (NA JAPAN EURO) or even when quitting a race in the map designer my game crashes. The sound keeps going but on the same note it left off right before a crash. Here's an example if the sound went; (a b c d e f a b c d e f) then right when I finished the race here is my sound (a b c d e f a b c d e f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f etc.) I think you get the point. Now since neither R4 or M3 teams have released firmware updates for months I think that is the reason for the crash, if anyone else has fixed this or maybe not gotten this problem at all please let me know. Maybe I downloaded wrong? Or maybe it's a bad dump?

 

Okay, since you have the latest firmware for M3 Simply, try backing up all your data and reformatting your MicroSD.

 

ok but first is anyone else having this problem? If someone else is then it's either the rom or that the M3 team needs to do a firmware update. My card is slow to copy files so don't want to do anything like this if the problems the firmware.

Ummmm you still haven't answered my question. I want to know if anyone else is having this problem first because it might not be my DS it might be the rom or the firmware needs an update when a new update finally comes out. If it is one of those two problems then reformatting my card would do nothing but waste my time so please tell me if you or anyone else is having this problem.

 

... I said that if you have the latest firmware, reformat your MicroSD as that coulf fix your problem. Please read carefully. It would not be your DS, the DS itself can't mess or interfere with flashcarts at all. It's completely different. And you have the latest firmware v1.14, so you can try reinstalling the firmware, and then reformatting, which should work. What MicroSD brand do you have?

 

ever think of the problem being the flashcart?

I have a CycloDS running outdated beta firmware (4 months old now...I think.) and it works.
so it might not be the firmware, but the flashcart.

also, not many people here have M3s, they have R4s or Cyclos.

 

Could be, sometimes flashcart hardware inside fails, the core chips fail to load MicroSDs properly. Still is very rarely the case.

 

dam it. Well I'll reformat then hopefully it will work. All my other games work it's just GRID that hates me xD.

 

As it's a very new game, they tend to not work properly.
