    Greetings, members of RomUlation,

I noticed that there is another member already named DeadVirus, so I added a '0' to the end of mine for the sake of difference. I hope this doesn't offend the original DeadVirus, but it's hard to use a different name since I've been using that one for a long time.

I thought I'd take the time to introduce myself, which I rarely do. I'm not saying you should feel privileged, but rather appreciative that some one like myself, an emulation enthusiast and ROM/ISO collector, would make an effort to be appart of a truly incredible emulation community such as this.

I discovered RomUlation during a search for Nintendo DS roms. Needless to say, I found everything I was looking for and more. Upon further exploration of the site, I came across the Dreamcast section. I still have my old Dreamcast, but it's impossible to get games for it. Now, I can finally play the games I've always wanted to. When I saw that RomUlation had Cannon Spike, I knew I had to join.

The library here is amazing. I feel confident calling it a library since it is a collection of knowledge freely available to responsible "scholars" willing to expand both their interests and the library itself.

Somethings about myself: I consider myself a a seasoned veteran of gaming, especially since my family has had almost every console since the Atari. I'd do better naming the consoles I don't have: Virtua Boy, Sega Saturn, and Nintendo Wii. The Wii is the only Next Gen I don't have. I respect it, but it's just not for me. I'm also not that big on handheld gaming. I have a PSP, but I don't play it nearly as much as I would like. I do tend to have a preference for PS3 and PC gaming, however. But I'm not here because of that, I'm here because I also love to expand my tastes of past gaming. Metal Gear Solid 4 may be one of the great games of today, but to appreciate it, one must play Metal Gear Solid.

To appreciate the games of today, one must look to the games of the past. That's why I collect/play ROMs/ISOs. They are the connection to a rich past of gaming.

And so, RomUlation, I salute you. If you will, please accept me into your community, as I feel I can contribute to this community of fellow enthusiasts.

    Hi! Welcome!

You cannot even begin to imagine how much fun I've had completing Metal Gear Solid while stuck at my grandparents summer house, it really saved me from an otherwise boring weekend. :)

Classics really are good and you somehow always end up having really fond memories of those games.
