great pc fps?

I just got a new and average performance computer. here are my specs

Intel Core 2 Duo (1.83 Ghz)
2.00 GB RAM
13.0 GB free hard disk space
224 Video RAM

so do you know any good PC FPS games for my comp? and if you read my very old topic, will my computer now be able o play counter strike source?

 

what graphics card do you have?

From the looks though, of at least your CPU specs, I'd go a bit old, like Q2-3, UT and CS. They of course, aren't as active as back in the day but I still find a few busy servers

That game would surely work-the specs are weaker than your pc

(but man...13GB free...I'd seriously consider clearing it up or at least backing up the junk to an external drive like I do, save's my laptop's 250GB of space for just programs)

 

Battlefield 1942 is awesome, i still play on the demo.

 

Try the first Call of Duty for PC.
That's should be playable on your comp.

 

Prehaps halo could work, might be a tad choppy but it would work.

 

I forgot to mention, it's not a comp. it's a laptop(yeah i was going to uninstall fable and other half-life 2 mods that don't work but i don't know how to uninstall all the mods). I still play some old classic games like half life 2, portal, fable TLC, L4D2 and they all work perfect no lag as long as i lower down the texture, model and shading to very low, they all work

oh and forgot to mention, my brother is sending me bioshock and elder scrolls oblivion. both meet the minimum so i'm not sure if it will still lag with all detail down so...

So is mine, I run resident evil 5 on mine

(But at 2.00ghz it's got a fair few balls...and because of dual core it acts as if it has 3.2ghz)

whoa really? a real car or a toy car? lol guess you're gonna have some nice drifts! and yeah Resident Evil 5 is great, but it's not fps, it's a 3rd-person shooter survival horror game, but more likely an action game, and lugia is looking for pikachu, i mean fps.

Just wait for Half Life 2 episode 3, RAGE,CRYSIS 2 or even DOOM 4.

 

Try Doom 3 for a Zombie and monster shooting.
