Great-Now both servers are offline!

EDIT-The site say's the euro one is being heavily strained because everyone is downloading from it...leaving only the US one that I assume you guys are still working on...

Because I can't download nothing with only 1 link availble




I tried to download the (U) version of phantasy star ds and havest moon...

Like with cop-BOTH are corrupted.

And out of unknown luck-another game I got from another site does infact work.


Does the euro sever handle australia-as this is not making sence-these games are working for everyone else yet not for me.


Details.

1.Both from the EURO server-CONFIRMED

2.All downloads from romUlation are failing, all others still working

3.Flash get isn't reporting any file errors during download-and is reporting as 100% downloaded

4.But 7zip is reporting errors, both files are stopping 50% of archive test

5.Same issues with cop the recruit


I know I shouldn't make another topic but that one became too "out side topic".


It's been ages since I got anything-and except for the (E) version of cop the recruit everything else has corrupted-without explaination.

I remembered that and now you bring up a good point...I forgot which I tried to download from.

I will try havest moon again and see how I go...


But flash get is reporting I tried this before-so prehaps it's the euro link...

you're still having troubles?.......man......that sucks....i still can't think of anything that would make a file corrupted like that......cause it works fine for me like i said before.........

Seph hit one possible reason. An outdated version of Winrar could be causing it. Some older versions cannot extract newer version's compressions.

after reading this, I'm updating my WinRAR too... The latest version is the 3.90 right?

3.90 is current.

though....my older version of WinRar still extracts newer ones....

Um....

I use 7zip, never updated it...

All of my files from other sites have open fine-here is an example...

I tried downloading cop the recruit from (GASP) another rom site-that worked.

I got another in a pm-that worked (opening I mean).


But so far only romU downloads have failed me-I'm guessing it's flashget, though I'm gonna do alot more than re-install it.

I'm gonna rip out megaupload manager-it's never conflicted until now (maybe)...

Don't need it anymore-the downloads from megaupload aren't corrupting anymore

that's good that some places aren't corrupting...but i still don't get it.....i would go crazy if that happened to me!!

It has to be, no one else has the same issue...

I'll have to wait before I try anything...hopefully I can return to downloading games from romU soon, I hate to visit those other cruddy sites

Try using the latest version of WinRAR and see if that works.

Maybe your version of 7zip is outdated and isn't handling the newest RAR format correctly?

I personally don't see why, all other sites except for romU seem to work-even the rival sites's downloads seem to work, unless they use an older version.

Ok time to report-WINRAR DOESN'T OPEN THE FILES!

It's saying exactly what 7zip is saying "crc error file is corrupt".

And it's the nds file-the other junk that comes with it seems to be fine disapointingly...
