Hello, I have a used graphics card that I tried installing. After a few tries, it came on. But it took so long to boot up that I shut it down. Now it does not work at all. I checked the graphics card itself(no damage), I disabled onboard graphics (to no avail), and the monitor is fine (used it without graphics card and it turned on). I am using a dual monitor cord in order to convert dvi to vga and so maybe it is which end I am using. But anyways I would appreciate any comments. BTW the graphics card's fan is running so probably not card. Thanks
the fact the fan is running means the card is getting power, nothing more. The card could be completely dead even though the fan runs.
