It has an 320 GB HDD + my old 190 GB HDD, Windows XP Professional and a CD/DVD burner.
It is a Desktop PC, I don't remember what brand..

    Intel(R) Pentinum(R) D CPU 2.80GHz
    Clockspeed: 2.82 GHz, 2.00 GB
    with an nVidea graphics card.

    Is this any good? :p

no, the core duo is ancient, and 320GB won't last very long.

It's average. Did I not see a graphics card?

Processor should last a year or two before games need a stronger one.

They said it was a decent PC for business things.

It is pretty much like this laptop, they said.

    The laptop has
    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T8100 @ 2.10GHz

So I expect the PC to be somewhat the same.

And this laptop has 111 GB and it lasted long already.

And don't worry, first thing I do is install Anti Virus software if they didn't already :p

I don't use it for games.

And I don't know anything about the graphics card.

    Probably means it's integrated.

You said your 11 right? What else could you possibly need a pc for o_O.

Well if your not gonna play games on it it'll last forever.

I do Visual Basic (yes beginning to understand it lol) and batch and alot more.

It is no gaming-based PC but I like playing games sometimes.

I guess when I have all my tools and Windows it will have somewhat 300 GB left I think.

Plus I have another 190 GB HDD so I can store alot more.

That will be a total of....*counts*....510 GB.

I stick with windows XP sp3 + web updates over any windows vista are 7s iv ever tryed ,

No one needs that much pluging up the plug hole lol!

I don't like PC games , Emulators sometimes do better for over consols

Any yes anyone should install a good virus program strate after a clean instill of windows, like free avast!, it's done very well for me

Have to ever try formating a flash drive on vista are 7s ? slowww , Try that with XP extream fast

You have your HDDs on master and slave drive ?, you ownly need 10gb for installment and updates , That leave's you with half a TB 500GB

+ what are you takling about you should be able to run a Pcsx2 emu with games like final fantasy X ... + good videocard mabe like nvidia are ati , if its a onbord intel it might be good enuth

It's Intel, yes. And it has XP.

I hope this PC can run N64, PSX, NDS, GBA and such.

And yes I tried formatting a flash drive on Vista. Very slow without Quick Format.
Yes, I tried it also on XP and it was like 30 times faster.

Yes I have two HDDs. Both clean (yeah the master drive with maybe an antivirus and Windows, drivers and stuff).

And are not much PCs able to run PS2 or something... ???

And I don't like PC games either, just the Sims and such. I use the PC more for programming, and from my experience it requires a good computer to compile your projects fast in Visual Basic Express 2010. When coding SMFTools, I used XP. It ran without problems. Now SMFTools has become Vista-based, since the version coded with XP didn't work correctly with Vista.

Mine also has an onbord but disabled it, and used a geforce nvidia pny 8400gs PCI card wokrs very well with them emus

Yes i can almost get the PS2 emulator to work on a signal core with that one game , but slow

Actually I only care about the earlier systems :p

NDS was just for if my card breaks or something happens to it (you never know :-\).

    As for programming...it's pretty simple.

I just copy parts of code from Googling and try to understand what the code does together in Visual Basic.

In Batch I just code what comes to mind without using Google or anything else.
