Google+Youtube=OH BOB SAGET!!

First Google bought out Youtube, when I heard about that I knew that Youtube would turn to crap very fast.

First Viacom wanted videos of their content pulled, then they wanted all the info about all of the users.

Then Major Compnies wanted Youtube to promote them and shut the Youtubers out.

Now... ... ...

On July 14th...Youtube will be suffering from a User-Blackout...
"New channel design was cool" I thought, until I found out that you cannot customize it! I reverted back and said "This is S**T!!"

Well?
What do you think about how Google is running Youtube?

I never had a copyright claim on youtube before it was bought, after it was bought half my vids were instantly taken down by WMG and I received a temp-ban for being a "repeat offender"

Fuck em, I'll upload my videos somewhere where the hard work is appreciated >.<

 

Ha, good luck on the user black out thing. You can customize the channel too, like the colors and stuff. Neat stuff iif you're into it I guess. I don't really care.

All the copyright stuff and WMG/Viacom taking everything down would of happened regardless if Google bought them. They take it off because they don't want their asses sued due to copyright. Popularity of youtube is what's gotten itself into what it is now.

I still love youtube.

It is good that you have noticed that YouTube is crap. It always was. I think there are much better ways of gaining attention to yourself than posting a video under an alias to YouTube. Don't you think?

Video upload sites are a dime a dozen these days. Stick to one if you want to publicize your shit. OR you can hype yourself for The Video Bay sometime in the next five years.

 

Why should it really matter? You're posting videos for the benefit of the community, not for your own glory.

Anyway, YouTube by nature should be exactly what it is. It's a place where you watch videos. The community in general are just plain idiots, and you deserve to be depressed if you take a community that seriously.
