Mozilla is actually much faster, with v3.5.2. And DownThemAll is an AWESOME Download manager.

Google Chrome is optimized for lightweight, so if you are a NetBook user, pick this one.
A netbook is a very small laptop for on-the-go stuff, if you don't know.

Choose them all. You can delete them if you don't like him.

there's no competition here.... unless you're on a not-so-powerful machine

    firefox all the way!

Eh I'm a minimalist and Chrome is perfect for me. I've never been able to customize Firefox the way I want to because it takes so damn long (or it did when I used it) and so yeah. :]

takes too long? it's literally 2 clicks for a theme or plugin... you can't customize chrome even close to the level of firefox either

I'm a complicated person and things have to be perfect before I'm satisfied :p And most plugins don't do EVERYTHING I require lol. Of course I haven't looked at it in a long time so we shall see soon when i redownload for kicks. :)

I think that each one has their opinion. I personally prefer Firefox.
But you can test both browsers for a few days... and then choose the one you liked the most. :)

    ^EXACTLY.

Chrome is really fast, but Firefox, for me, is better, when you have optimized it.
If you type in about:config in your Firefox browser, you can edit things in Firefox to make the browser faster. There are tutorials on how to do it.

Mainly because of DownThemAll, FastestFox, and Personas.

Use both! Seriously, I use Chrome for every-day stuff and firefox for the development I do, if I could switch to Chrome I definitely would because FireFox is no where near the sexyness it used to be, it's right now using just about a gig of RAM and in desperate need of a restart.

If only Chrome had my dear development tools. =/

I use Chrome because I don't have to go into the configuration set up to change variables whose meaning you can only guess through its name. Because everyone knows what content.max.tokenizing.time is and why it should be set to 2250000.

Also, I'm completely used to the whole quick search thing where you type in the first letter of the website and press tab to search it through the Omnibox.

E -> Tab -> Search Term for Wikipedia,
    D -> Tab -> Search Term for Dictionary.com,
I -> Tab -> Search Term for Google image search. I could go on.

Also, I love how you can Google things straight from the address bar. On the topic of add-ons, I have no use for them, and when you don't use them all they do is slow down the browser.
