"Scurge Hive" is not well-known but it's cool. I mean, even the music was ok, and that's rare in DS games.
"Style Savior" (also called "Style Boutique") it's like super-addictive, but it is a bit gay imho..

The topic starter is asking for DS games, not GBA ones :p

They are usually unknown for good reason.

I think the topic starter meant "Underrated" games or games "highly respected review sites/people" didn't give a flying duck about but are actually quite good.

Knights in the Nightmare. If you can get past the steep learning curve, then you're golden. Hell, I bought the game a few months back and I rarely play it, just for the fact that it beats the everliving hell out of me every time. Great game though, and one of the best on Nintendo DS(i/XL).

    spectral force genesis?
    Maestro! jump in music?
    Ketsui Death Label?
I think these games are "unknown" to many ppl...
    or kinda underrated
Spectral force genesis is a good game, a little strange, but if you understand it, is great, Maestro & Ketsui are games, that few people know... and are great games both, maestro is like elite beat agents, but here you strum the cords, and ketsui is a shooter game, a real hard shooter game.

    on rondo of swords
It actually needs good explaination on card quests and its effects, besides that the game si all good. Most of your characters are overpowered anywayz (besides cotton and Ansen? forgot the archer's name), especially the mages, I mean all the mages hit for 90% of enemy units' hps and the AI just love to throw themselves at your mage's mercy.

On the lesser known games that are really really really good
    1. air traffic controller (omg, I play for hours at a time, its simple, easy to learn, and highly addictive)
    2. the japanese tales game (tempest, innocence, hearts. Again, action rpgs that are highly addictive, but its not in english, there is english guide, but no patch)
    3. puzzle planet (for real, no one talks about this anywhere, but it is one of the best puzzle games out there).

I'm still waiting patiently for AZT to produce results.

Anyways, Planet Puzzle League, I couldn't put the game down, until a random dood in a hazma suit came and threatened me.
