Hey all. I was looking for a good printer (my mom through all of ours away...) that is fairly cheap, but still has a good printing ratio for what I pay for the printer, ink (including refills), and paper. And I'm only looking for a black and white printer. Color really doesn't matter. I can save up for one, but my max may be around $150 or a little more it it's a really good printer. Thank you!
HPs are damn expensive to run. I have a nice brother laser printer (HL-2030). that only recently started bitching about low toner. It's still using the cartridge it came with 5 years ago
Wow! I'll look into that one. Thanks! And more suggestions are welcome. It'll be a few weeks before I can afford one.
well...i'll just link you to the one i purchased ;p http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16828104014

I always like Epson and turn it into a continuous system so don't have buy the cartridge but well, its not mine and the parent like to keep it as is. When i write my thesis, i would buy my personal printer and do just that cause i would be printing a lot of pages. I never liked canon.... so here are my ranking from best to least liked: Brothers, Epson, HP and Canon. I haven't tried lexmark yet so, there you go.
Thanks everyone! I got paid a lot more than I was expecting, so I was able to buy one just a few minutes ago!! I bought a Brother laser printer. An HL. This one actually. - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16828113290 Seemed the best for the price, plus, I only have $80 in my bank account until my check is processed in a few days. So I struck gold!
