looking for whatever PC game is good. beat all my PC games already. oh and the requirements must be pentium IV else I won't be able to run it. I REALLY want to upgrade but that's gonna cost getting a new motherboard and new processor etc. games already beaten: Borderlands Oblivion Bioshock Post Merge: [time]1286197724[/time] what is there no current game that uses pentium IV?
Starcraft 2, but if you don't like playing online RTS, it may be not worth your time. Still, the game gives you enough tools to prepare you for newbie online strategi-zing. It has almost endless of tactics and incredibly rewarding the more you learn of about various strategies. Winning an online match is immensely satisfying but losing is as humiliating. How to play it? 1) Learn the tutorial 2) Play the campaign 3) Play the Challenges 4) Play co-op vs A.I (any difficulty of your liking) 5) Play 1vs1 A.I (start from easiest to insane) 6) Play co-op online vs human 7) Play the practice match 8) You will be placed in the ladder. 9) Or just play vs your acquaintances. The above steps are easy to follow if you do them in order. In the end, prepare for online victories and defeats for no FPS can give you what an RTS can give, even if its way harder to get into.
If you want a game that's only for pc, I recommend plants vs. zombies, it's a strategy-action game that's pretty funny and challenging (well, survival mode is...adventure mode is pretty easy) I like playing O2Jam, it's a music game where you hit the notes that goes down that seems like the beat of the song. There's a free version that doesn't require logging in to the net called O2mania and you can download any songs for free. (because there are songs that requires purchase) Hope you like them ^_^
O2Mania can also play DJ Max songs as well. Too bad it can't emulate Ez2on songs yet, as there are lots of bad ass songs, such as Aquaris, Prince of Darkness, and Legend of Moonlight. Speaking of DJ Max, DJ Max Trilogy is a good game that can run on a Pentium 4 with ease. Lots of songs and chart contents, and so far, there have been update patches that add new songs, and made the stupid auto-correct feature an option to turn off.
yep I played plants vs zombies and beat it like 2 times on my laptop I played all of those except fear and starcraft 2. going to go try them you post that SC2 shit on every game topic you come across.
I also love DJ max I think it's a bit harder on the controller because I think I can only use my thumbs.. and it has the analog stick part which made me broke my friend's psp analog stick T_T How do I quote two people? @LOTLOT : that's cool, I only beat it once and became addicted to the minigames and survival mode.. you can have emulators too... I recently had a epsxe and I'm having a recollection of my childhood memories playing ps1 again ^_^ I love SILENT HILL.. though I didn't finished it out of fear (I only lasted up to the school which was just the start) So I just watched my brothers play it. hehe
oh yeah lol I beat all the DJmax games on the PSP. I used to play the filipino O2Mania until it went down. now I only play bandmaster.
I know you are referring to the Portable version series (which in fact, I do own all five games: Portables 1, 2, and 3, plus Clazziquai Edition and Black Square), but I was referring to the PC Online version which came out first before the Portable series. The PC Online version has song pack files which you can load onto O2Mania, and the cool thing is that O2Mania can display the animations.
Sims 2 & 3 use alot of resources & if you don't have enough you will know soon enough....(the game will crash when you don't save for a long time)
I didn't really like the sims. well anyway I'm playing fallout new vegas. it's a good shooter. any other cool shooters?
i recommend you don't try starcraft 2, you need to buy everything, try hacking and you will get banned
who said I was pirating PC games in the first place? Post Merge: [time]1288100925[/time] I don't live in the US and since 99% of the game servers are hosted there, I get no fun. I legitimately bought the orange box just team fortress 2 and I lagged so bad.
What the hell are you talking about? I've seen like 20+ Australian servers and 10 Mexican servers. I've got a fair share of servers I go to as well. Wherever you are, there should be a good server. Around 10-150ms is good.
yeah I've seen alot of them too but that is usually in the night when it's time to sleep. the ones in the day have these really huge maps to download
