Good Nintendo Wii games

Finally I got my Nintendo Wii! I am pretty happy with it and the coming years I will be playing one it. Propably I will save some money for the Wii U to BUT the Wii will still get games until 2013 or something.

What are great games to go and buy now?

 

The wii has good games? I haven't touched mine in 2 years, I wanna see these good games too.

Whats the difference to the Gamecube game?

Rune Factory: Frontier (surprisingly much better than you would probably think)

Kirby's Epic Yarn
Tatsunoko VS Capcom (over the top fighting, yay~)
No More Heroes 1 & 2 (violence laced, yay~)
Metroid Prime Trilogy (the first 2 were on GCN before, but they play better on the Wii, IMO)
Little King's Story
Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2
Lost in Shadow

All pretty amazing. Unfortunately, that's as far as my list goes.

Upcoming: Skyward Sword, the other upcoming Kirby game, and Rune Factory: Oceans (or whatever it's new name is)

 

I always suggest modding and just downloading Wii games because they're not worth the money most of the time except for the GOOD games.

Some good ones that you should BUY are Mad World, Super Mario Galaxy 1/2, I can't think of others right now cause I'm sleepy, but I'll post them later.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade (spiritual successor to Odin Sphere, except Odin Sphere is much better)

Most of the good recommendations are all Nintendo IPs, which is nice and everything, it's just that you can get sick of playing Mario games after awhile...

I'm glad I download before I buy most of the games.

 

I can't believe that nobody said Metroid: Other M -.- come on guys.. it was really good.

 

Meh, while I'll defend the story to a certain extent, the game wasn't very fun to me compared to any other Metroid game.

 

Metroid Other M SHOULD have been titled: "Nintendo Killing The Metroid Series". The gameplay I could have dealt with, but...the name is retarded. Samus is retarded. Her friends are retarded...they just all fail. This is coming from an avid Metroid fan who loved all the others. (Okay, admittedly, Fusion is a bit iffy.
Anyway, just my opinion, don't let it discourage you.
