Yeah, well, I don't know if this is the right board to place it, but I need some help. Me and my friend want to play a co-op game, but it has to have the following things:

    Console (one of these)
    Ps3
    Xbox360
    Wii
    DS
    GameCube

Genre (one of these, combined is good to)
    RPG
    Shooter
    RTS
    Adventure

    - Split screen (2 players on 1 console)
    - Play together, not against each other. So like, we are in the same team, and don't compete.
    - Player 1 has the same rights as Player 2. In some games, only player 1 gets the items, levels up, can save his character etc. we want this for both players.

    Games already played
    Borderlands (Xbox360)
FF Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time (DS)
    Dragon Quest IX (DS)

Well, I hope my English is good enough for you guys to read this, I'm Dutch, and my English isn't that good. I hope you have respect for that.

Thanks in advance, and I hope you guys come up with some good games :)

    Gamecube:
    Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (Each player NEEDS a GBA hooked to the Gamecube..Otherwise you can only do 1 player)
    Tales of Symphonia

    Wii:
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World

    Xbox 360:
Fable (As far as I know, can't save your character, but CAN load any other characters saved)
Fable 2 (As far as I know, can't save your character, but CAN load any other characters saved)
Fable 3 (I've heard XBL and local multiplayer can be used at the same time)
    Tales of Vesperia

    DS:
    Phantasy Star Zero
Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days (Mission Mode ONLY. Not sure if it's co-op or competitive, though)

That's all I know. For the Xbox ones I'm not 100% sure, since we only have one controller here and we only borrowed one from a friend to get something on Fable 3 that required multiplayer.

    This isn't co-op.

Trine (PS3), Pixel Junk Monsters and Shooter 1/2 (PS3), any Halo game for the Xbox (I don't think Wars has split screen though), Resistance 1/2 (PS3), Earth Defense Force (Xbox).

The Halo series and CoD series both have great split-screen and online co-op

Your English is good. Better than most people whose native language is English.

    NDS:
Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon (4 player local co-op dungeon crawl. Has extra hard bosses and rare loot not found in single player)

    Gamecube:
Lord of the Rings: The Third Age (has 2 player co-op, although one person controls two characters, and the other just controls one)
    Pikmin 2 (RTS)

    Wii:
    Donkey Kong Country Returns
    Ghostbusters The Videogame
Any of the LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Indiana Jones games
    Star Wars Lightsaber Duels
Star Wars Clone Wars Republic Heroes

    Either PS3 or Xbox 360:
Army of Two: The 40th Day (Shooter)
Dynasty Warriors 7 (Hack 'n Slash, with RPG elements, stats, weapon upgrades)
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (Beat 'em Up with RPG elements)
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Videogame (Beat 'em up with RPG elements, stats, levels, new moves)

    UPDATED.

    PS3:
I'd suggest Sacred 2 (Fantasy RPG)
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (FPS, also has a good skirmish-style mode you can play co-op)
    or Resident Evil 5 (Third-Person Shooter/Horror).

I must point out that RS: Vegas 2 is a stealth shooter, not like cod or halo. You have to be sneaky or else you're dead :p

That's true. Forgot to mention Lost Planet 2 for the PS3/Xbox 360. Pretty poor SP, but a lot of fun on co-op.
