GoldenEye 007 DS AP Topic

The new game, GoldenEye 007 DS, has AP.
What's the AP? You'll either get a black screen of death upon booting the ROM, a load error, or the game will crash while running.

Confirmed WORKING on
*Supercard DSTWO
*Acekard 2i AKAIO 1.8.1 - Turn on AAP if it freezes with the AAP off. Has slowdowns on certain SD cards.
*Wood R4 1.16
*Cyclo DS B4
*M3DS Real with latest Sakura
*DSTT (read the quote)

NOT WORKING on
*R4i-SDHC - Doesn't boot, stays on black screens
*R4 SDHC
*EZ Flash - Black screen after the first mission.

Please list what cart and firmware you are using, and what the AP is doing.

SuperCard DSTwo. Nothing. It plays fine. I haven't tested it on AKAIO 1.8.1, but I'm assuming it'll work perfectly. I can more than bet you it won't work on the EZ Flash IV.

 

Everything runs perfectly on DSTWO <3. Nevermind about AKAIO 1.8.1, the game just froze after starting the 1st level. (...)

 

Ah. Do you have AP bypass on? That may help. Not sure because my AK2i is at home...

 

i am on the 3rd mission without any problems on AKAIO 1.8.1 and AAP off

Where does it freeze? Upon booting, or somewhere in the game?

 

works fine on wood r4 1.14 almost done with the first level

 

Seems to work, play and save just fine on a CycloDS using the B4 firmware.

 

Can't get it to work on my R4 SDHC. Anyone know what firmware I should use to run it?

I kept trying random firmwares because the latest firmware from r4sdhc.com never worked on my device. I tried the link you gave me, but I kept getting the black "Loading..." screen glitch every time I booted my DS (tried both FAT and FAT32 formats). Are there any other firmwares that my run the game on R4 SDHC, or do I need a formatting program?

 

Why Does The Game Lag So Much? Using Acekard2i.

 

Back up your card, then format it. Copy the system files from the link I gave you onto the root of your card, then put everything else back.

 

It's doing the same thing with M3DS (Sakura) plays like it is in slow motion, it's very annoying.

 

Works on all emulators! ;D

 

its probably your sd card. try formatting it. or try another sd card
