Getting PSX games to work on PSP

I need help getting FF VII to work on my PSP, latest Prometheus firmware. I tried converting it to an eboot, and got the popsloader, but the game wont show up on the memory stick when i turn on the psp.

 

Which PSP? firmware?
Though some PSX games may not be able to work on Prom.

 

PSP 2000. Oh, reformatted the card, games work, but still got problems with PSX....

I put the eboot in the PSP/GAMES folder, is that it?

 

Yes, but it should be 'GAME' not 'GAMES'.

 

Ah, yeah, typo. No need to put the discs in the ISO file, right? Just the eboot?

 

Yeah, nope.
Put your PSX games(eboot) in your GAME folder.
Just make sure you successfully converted the game.

Yeah mines are in there own seperate folder for each eboot in the psp/game folder.
