Hey guys I have an iDEAS 1028 emulator and I was playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and I'm completely stumped at the BLOW away aluminium dust moment.

Any way I could get past it WITHOUT a microphone.I think it wouldn't be feasible for me to buy a microphone solely for this game because I have no other use for a microphone. I'd just be wasting my money and letting the microphone rot after I'm done with it.. If there is no such way, is there a help topic I can read on using the microphone with iDEAS.

I think theres a setting somewhere in the config which allows you to configure a button for the mic? or possibly most games allow you to tap the screen instead. (I think I remember using the space bar for LoZ:pH)

failing that no$gba has support for a mic, you should be able to pick up a cheap one for 5-10$

Haven't seen a game where it allowed you to use a button or touch newpress instead. I did come across a method of using Sam's voice and recording it over your speaker and then playing it back on GBAtemp somewhere. Otherwise just pick up a second hand microphone etc.

Edit: just found there seems to be some sort of work around if you dont have a mic by using the speak app/tool on your PC, or some people said playing an MP3 works. Seems a little buggy though.

Edit edit: AJ beat me to it.

Yes, but the thing is I save using iDEAS' save state (i.e. .sgs file) by pressing f10 I highly doubt no$GBA will read my save state. I read this thread from ngemu about Audacity http://forums.ngemu.com/no-gba-discussion/112341-blowing-screen.html#post1475027 but I'm totally lost. Same goes for the GBAtemp thread.
