Getting NO$GBA 2.6a to save pokemon HG and SS

Alright, I've fixed everything I could for both the HG and SS roms, and now I figured out I can't save -_-. I have my GBA Backup Cartridge Media set on SRAM 32kbytes.

This is what pops up every time : You can play this game but cannot save, please reset cartridge.

It appears on a double blue screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

You should set the save type to Auto.

 

Tried, same message popped up.

"Error saving data.

The backup memory has failed. The game may be played, but it is impossible to save.

Please turn off the power."

 

Wait a minute here.

You should change the NDS Cartridge Backup Media to auto, not the GBA one.

 

There is no auto function for my NDS backup Cartridge media, I currently have it set on FLASH 512kbytes. Should I just test all on the list to see which works?

 

If there's no Auto choice, I'm assuming that the one you have isn't the 2.6a version.

Seems to work, albeit with the massive lag spike. Thanks for the advice, as you can tell I'm pretty new in terms of DS emulators and the like.

Scratch that, it appears to freeze when saving, emu runs at about 30%ish with sound off.
