Hi, I've been working on getting epsxe to run for about 15 hours now I'm about to through this laptop at the wall :-\ . I'm trying to get this to run on ubuntu I'v installed it myself twice and using an automated script both leaving me with the same results I can run the BIOS just fine but when a put a game in all i get is a black screen that stares back at me taunting me like a little child. I'v tried multiple drivers and games still same problem. It could be from the lack of sleep or nurishment that i overlooked something but i'v been reading forums for hours and hours. this is what mr. terminal is telling me.

    Code:
Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to load module "libcanberra-gtk-module.so": libcanberra-gtk-module.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I don't know the details behind running it on Linux.

But a black screen when trying to run a game usually means a graphics plugin configuration issue. What game are you trying to run and what plugin are you using?
