If someone on this forum can help me getting a PSX demo disc to run properly on any emulator, I'd greatly appreciate it. The PSX demo is Playstation Magazine Platinum Special Demo (on google, it's the first result). I'm trying to play the DOOM demo on that disc, but it freezes at the LOADING screen (you can check it, yourself, too) on any emulator I run. It seems mounting the image has to do with fixing the problem, but I don't quite know where to go from there. Emulators I've tried: epsxe and Xebra Thanks!
Tried it. Has the exact same issue. After doing some more reading, this seems to be an issue with certain games like Doom and Final Doom. There needs to be a specific way to load and run these games on emulators because they require mounting to a drive, first of all. Still, I tried that, didn't do it.
