Try using a different version of DLDI. I use DLDIrc for my R4DS while using GEOSDS. Try downloading a new one then you can prefer which one's a match for your CycloDS.

Best to get them from Chishm's site, and use the DLDI RC or Right Click Patcher. chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI

    I got a error message
C:\Users\Fortech\Desktop\geosDS\geos\geos.nds does not have a DLDI section
    how do i fix this?

Then you probably don't need to DLDI patch it, most of the newer or newish homebrews don't need DLDI patching, as when they code with libraries and toolchains such as Devkitpro and Palib or DevkitArm, it fixes them, or it doesn't have problems running on other flashcarts. DLDI was made when there were not many flashcarts, and when homebrews had problems working on them because of their firmware code.

OK i tried booting it up on DS but another error message was displayed.
    Couldn't open directory /geos
i tried it with both Cyclo and R4 but it wont open because its not patched with DLDI.

Then use the DLDI RC patcher (at link above from me), it can DLDI patch any .nds file, even if it does not require DLDI patching.

the cyclo really isn't meant for homebrew stuff.

and the auto-DLDI patching isn't a "one size fits all" sort of deal so definitely just tinker with the R4.

y cant someone upload their own copy of geosds that works wit R4 or Cyclo so i can use it.
or someone can patch it for me

Try asking on cyclos forum, they always have the answer somewhere, try search before asking though. As they are all cyclo people they will have found the best way to go. ;D

    nope it doesnt work.
it says could not find directory /geos

    you can't just make a \geos directory?

Judging how geosDS is quite old, it may just not work on newer R4 etc firmware and the code or process involved. Normally, if it said could not find directory /geos etc., then something is wrong either with geosds or your flashcart firmware, as a working homebrew rom would be able to create a directory (one that is needed, for FAT to work, save files, configurations etc.) on it's own, without user creation. But try making a /geos directory anyway, of course from the root so H:/geos etc.

nope. creating a /geos directory doesnt work.
i got anandjone's copy of GEOSDS and patched exactly another 23 times but it didnt work still.
    :(

You can't repatch a ROM with DLDI, once it has been patched first, it cannot be repatched. Have you tried using an older firmware?

you can't triple stamp a double stamp.

    try getting a fresh copy.
