GBAexploder is this close to making me smash something

ok i need help with this because its pissing me off. what the hell is the difference between sram and nor...how do i save games on gbaexploader...i have to restart the castlevania games cos i dont bloody know how to save. how do i write the saves onto my slot one card so i can back them up...cos it seems to me the efficient way to emulate gba games with a slot 2 soluion is to save it to the slot 2 card in nor mode taking away loading time...then im lost...please someone explain how to save my games...and this whole sram and nor business too.

 

If you shut down your DS, and open GBAExploader it asks where you want to save your file.
