Gba temp cheat data base

So I downloaded the data base and deleted some of the games on it because I didn't need them and moved my favs to the top but most of the cheats still don't work! Do you know why? Ps I have an r4i

I just watched a YouTube video and it might work now I'm in bed now (lol) but I'll do it tomorrow tell you if it works, please though still reply!
