IGN has a pretty old yet useful article with a lot of single-cart multiplayer games:

But what about the multi-card multiplayer games, which ones are good? I can remember:
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords
    Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land
    Mario Power Tennis

    Got any more?

Yeaps, quite a few I think. Let's see what I can remember.
Shining Soul II(a definite must play)
    Mario Golf
    Gundam Seed Destiny
    Guilty Gear
    Street Fighter
Shining Soul II, Legend of Zelda and Mario Tennis are probably the best though. You can link up in Golden Sun, Fire Emblem and Megaman Battle Network as well though multiplayer isn't their main strengths.

i think that about sums it up, you mightve missed a few.. Shining Soul II is fun but wasnt really well balanced the dark magic or whatever was waaaayyyy over powered, Mario golf is a blast with a friend.

i think mario kart advanced was multi-player

And so is the brawler though not as over-powered as dark mage though. Managed to beat the final boss at lvl 40 with the brawler. Shining Soul II is really awesome, I wished they made more sequels.
Mario Golf is definitely fun but the A.I just sucks horribly. I liked mario tennis better though ^^
I just remembered a game that also has multiplayer. Pokemon =O
