Golden Sun and it's sequel are great games, as is the remake of Tales of Phantasia.

Lufia, The Harry Potter games (the earlier ones play like RPGs), Megaman Battle Networks, Baldur's Gate, Pokemon, Robopon & in a way the SIMs games are kinda like RPGs :D

There's a Lufia on GBA? God, loved the one on GB and SNES, with the Sinistrals and the sequel. But I think that is probably a remake.

    Castlevania was very good.

No, Lufia: The Ruins of Lore for the GBA isn't a remake. It's a brand new tale altogether.

So anyway, here's the Chronological order:

[SNES] Lufia Rise of the Sinistrals (Lufia 2)
[SNES] Lufia The Fortress of Doom (Lufia 1)
[GBC] Lufia The Legend Returns (Lufia 3)
[GBA] Lufia Ruins of Lore (Lufia 4)

    RomUlation has them all :D

Yeah, I thought Baldurs was for PC. I have number 2: Shadows of Amn (real copy). The GBC lufia is great, wish I had that back then. Guess I should play that GBA Lufia eventually. Would be awesome if there was one for DS.

I liked Scurge Hive, it was quite a different type of RPG. Had an interesting story.

i would recommend the Megaman battle network series they are are cool

    1, 2, 3 and 6 are great

4 - lacks things and things were changed from the first 3
thats why people didn't like it much
dark chips were annoying, and to get all souls you have to play
    the game three times through.

5 - it's better its the only one that has a libration missions which like
a turn based straegy with the Battle network fighting style
you also control other navi's like MagnetMan, ShadowMan and ProtoMan.
It is good game.. they bought out this version on the DS as well

If you are going to play the series start at battle network one, obviously.
