    Gauntlet DS Cancelled

Some users have recently posted asking for Gauntlet DS. However this game has been unofficially canceled! Sorry, I know I know as I wanted to play it badly too. Most sites have removed the game and those who still have it simply show a display page with no information and TBA release date (if any). Amazon even went as far as sending out emails confirming the games cancellation. Sorry guys. Check out links below for confirmation. Fans have created a petition to save the game although we all know how well they work...

Hasn't actually been confirmed by said developers/publishers. Also, I actually predicted the cancellation a few weeks ago :p

This link was previously removed from eidos' site which spurred the first round of speculation about cancellation. I find it weird that after removing the link they would choose to put it back on the site, it was restored about 1 month ago. Even if eidos decide not to publish, backbone can take their product to another publisher. As this is a finished product it would be insane for backbone not to seek a release to recoup their costs on the project.

A Gauntlet DS would be badass, especially with link play...

C'mon, this game was like monopoly to everyone. You'd get really into it in the beginning, but by the 5 hour mark, all you want to do is beat your fellow players to death with your thimble/arrows respectively.

The game was supposed to be released in October last year and then on April 1st 2009 (LOL!). There is a demo of Gauntlet on Download Station 8 (I think).
I'm now waiting for Ghostbusters as this might be similar to Gauntlet (4players!!), unless Backbone (or someone who has a review copy) decide to dump the ROM onto the internet.
