i read a lot of stuff that DS games are only capable of online play when the wifi is on wep settings. with the here are my questings: -is there any possibility of going online with the wpa setup? i don't have a constant connection that's why. -if the above is not possible, are dsi enhanced games capable? what exactly is the difference of the ones to the original unenhanced ones?
the DS unit does not support anything other than wep or unecrypted. nintendo have very foolishly decided not to release an update and in doing so have undone a lot of the good work that the WiFi Alliance have done in terms of educating people about wireless security. DSi/3DS and their respective games may support WPA and/or WPA2, I dont know. DSi enhanced games have features that are only accessible when played on a DSi unit.
