I'm looking for any games where the heroine/villaness gets hypnotized, brainwashed, posessed, memory wiped, personality switched, drugged or otherwise mentally altered. Anybody know any off hand?
Manhunt 2, 007 Quantum of solace has one drugged up level, Condemned 2, thats just off the top of my head.
I thought this question over for a couple of hours, but I'm having a block. The only mind control I can think of right is the priests ability in World of Warcraft and the Psychic power sets in City of Heroes/Villians. Sorry, I'm just completely blank =p
there's a druggy bit in fallout 3 where you have hallucinations, and also a bit where you're put in a virtual world.
...also in Frozen Throne dark archer has a mind control spell ( lvl 6 spell)... HINT: MindControl workers with this spell to build aditional empires (like if u are undead , mind control elf's peasant...)
On the SNES there was a hallucination scenario on Earthbound & a Brainwashed TErra, or Tina in Final Fantasy 6 & a mildly amnesia Stricken Galuf in Final Fantasy 5. On the GBA in Mother 3, your party experiences getting high on shrooms.
Psi-Ops. You're a guy who is psychic and can lift things up and take over minds and make fire come from your hands and stuff. Really fun game and very under appreciated. Came out for the PS2/Xbox/PC He also gets drugged. Oh, and Psychonauts.
Oh yeah towards the end, she gets controlled by Ultimeccia who also controlled Edea. I loved her floating zombie-like swaying motion as Ultimeccia controls her walking.
Thanks for the quick replies people, I really appreciate it. I'm pretty sure everything listed so far "counts" cept maybe tetris (says that but then the evil russian music starts playing in his head) Btw I also liked the Rhiona zombie sway walk thing
I'm pretty sure there's a mind control spell in Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain that lets you take control of someone and walk around with them. Can't remember if that spell was used in any of the ones after that though.
Indigo Prophecy! I'm warning you, though, around halfwat the game takes a nose dive in story. It's got a cool first half, I guess.
I think a great adventure game on DS is Theresia whose heroine is a girl who is trapped in a dungeon and she wakes up with amnesia and tries to get herself out of different traps. One of the few games to be horror/survival for DS
