in what way is rainbow 6 vega 2 a game to watch for 2008?! we know why metal gear is [a conclusion to the metal gear series], halo wars because it's a strategy rather then a shooter, etc....

Because the original RSV i found to be quite good i i would expect the sequel to be even better than the original i would at least say that it would be on the top list of Xbox games to look out for

RSV2 is gonna be exactly the same as the first but with slightly better graphics and hopefully a better selections of guns (like an f'n m4 or something)...

nothing new 1st was fun 2 will drag it out...

i think this list is fairly accurate but i also noticed that all these games are huge, major companies that are trying to hype up people to buy their games
like star wars... seriously... milked dry...

i think personally spore should be at the top of the list..

we all know these games are coming why not a list of games that will be coming from smaller game companies... games that aren't going to be plastered on the side of gamestops.. this country is going to hell.. WHAT ABOUT THE LITTLE GUYS!! i want to play hidden gems not corporate nonsense thats all the same... most anticipated games my ass!!

P.S. Halo was a horrible game after the first one...

Thank you i agree whole heartedly with pretty much everything you said. I think that they should have made a 3rd in the series for star wars: knights of the olde republic though those have to be a couple o my fave games ever. And its bout time somebody said that the halo series sux.

#7 on his list F3 is going to be the worst game of all time. just imagine oblivion with guns. The game itself sucked to begin with now they have to destroy a series of games that we all loved and cared about. If Bethsoft wanted to do fans a favour, they would sell the rights to Obsidian or work with the Tec-Demo of Van Buren, Which I know we all have on our PC's. I just don't think i am ready to see something i love raped, trashed, decimated, shamed, and then murdered, right infront of my eyes. It makes me sick what they are doing with the franchize as it should all of you the faux WRPG ways of bethesda have to be stopped.

    P.S. Oblivion sucked balls

I pretty much agree with the list you linked, except that I don't anticipate GTA IV at all, and that RE5 is scheduled for 2009, not 2008.

My most anticipated games for 2008 are Red Alert 3, StarCraft 2, EndWar, Far Cry 2, Empire: Total War, Fire Emblem DS, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Okami Wii, and (which already came out) Kane's Wrath, Apollo Justice, Professor Layton (must admit that I never heard of it until I played it), FFCC: Ring of Fates, and Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword. Note that of the current generation consoles, I only own a Wii, DS and PC.

How can you not anticipate in a huge game with no playtime load screens, a great tradition, and a game that lets us do what we feel like doing. which is Shooting people and stealing cars. Please explain I, for one, don't understand.

P.S. three of those games are alread out, so how do you anticipate them being released?
