Games that need remakes

exactly what the title says which games need remakes and if they did what would you want to change in them for me i would want resident evil 2 and 3 remade

changes i would make to both
-i would want it to have 3 modes of play classic camera
a mode where it has the classic camera and the over the shoulder cam for shooting and full on ots cam
-a side story kind of like with lisa trevor in the re1 remake
-more costumes
-mercenaries mode

Games I want remakes, are the Phantasy Star I, II and IV. III was a bit not so science fantasy for my tastes.

A friend of mine wants Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones remade in 3D. I also agree on that one. It would be nice if Fire Emblem 6 and 7 where remade into a new 3D game too, but they are working on the remakes of the original games... so...

Final Fantasy I remake again? Heh, in 3D.

Classic Super Robot Wars 2 Onwards remade in 3D and miraculously released in US without too much copyright problems? That would be wonderful...

Sonic Adventure remade? Sonic Adventure DX isn't a remake, it just has newer graphics and music and things like that.
A completely new world for Sonic Adventure.

Phantasy Star series, really bad, I wanted remakes for years.

 

Ask this a year ago and I would most likely say Pokemon GS. But hey, that got it's day in the limelight so...

Harvest Moon DS.
- Needs redrawing of the sprites. The game was pretty good, but the sprites were a huge step backwards from the detailed ones of the GBA versions.

FFtactics from the GBA
- a new remake with an extra fine story and lots more classes and gameplay would be appreciated. Or heck, a sequel that didn't have a meh story like FFTa2 would work.

Dragon Age 2.
- Everything about it.

 

Final Fantasy VI
- Better than FFVII IMO

 

IMO there's been way to many re-releases/HD "remakes" this year, but I'll happily get OoT 3DS when and if I do get a 3DS, along with Halo Anniversary.

Anyways... Games I think need remakes? Duke Nukem 3D, Super Mario World, Original Metal Gears (Metal Gear 1, and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake), Super Mario World... And maybe a few others.

To be honest... no

If a game was a major hit when it was first made then remaking it isn't necessary.

Take for example, Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals which was remade a year ago. Sure the game was given sparkling new graphics & voice (I think, I didn't actually play the remake) but they made the game into a live action RPG. This for me totally broke the game for me as the original was a hit even if it used the tried & tested turn based RPG battle system. And since the game is an ARPG, you essentially have control of only one character whilst in the original you controlled a party of four, five if you count the Capsule Monsters in your party as well.

FFIV, on the DS had great graphics & voice acting, but they sacrificed the ability to rename the characters I am a huge fan of renaming your party to your name & the names of your friends & with this feature non existent in the remake meant the game had to be deleted.

Games that flopped on the first launch but were under rated or "has something to offer" however should definitely be remade. Same goes for games that were not released outside Japan but were major hits with the fan translation fanbase like the Romancing SaGa games should definitely be remaed as well.

I tried out the remake. They Ruined it...I hate Nintendo so much...

For one: they make the stupidest games. Other than Pokemon (which is solid except for the spin-offs) the only modern nintendo games I can stomach are DBZ (not because they are awesomely solid, but because I play every DBZ game no matter what) and I guess Arc Rise Fantasia is tolerable. Mario Kart is still solid (the main Mario series is no good for me anymore.
And I admit Xenoblade looks good...I don't even know if it will make it here.
Other than that...they're greedy (this has nothing to do with anti-piracy. I guess all Game companies are greedy, I dunno.

 

Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3
Old school RE way better than 4 and 5.

I'd like to see them in today's graphics and physical capacity.

 

None of that has absolutely nothing to do with how they "ruined" the aforementioned game. And Nintendo didn't make any of the games you mentioned, save for Mario Kart and Pokemon.

 

They are on Nintendo consoles though. I'm pretty sure he wasn't asking how they ruined Lufia 2.

 

I thought that was what he was asking. Oh well, doesn't matter. Just because its on a Nintendo console, doesn't mean Nintendo ruined it though.

I think you need to stop right there and take a different angle. Once that 'list' came up I started groaning.
