games take ages to load?

I am using an R4I gold with the retrogamefan multi cart update,when i load games without booting TTmenu.ds they load in seconds with when i do boot it a game takes around a minute to load.
This used to not happen before i updated it. is there any reason for this and is there a way to fix it?

Realy, Did you mean TTMenu.nds ? as a second loader.

You could pix and mix your old files with new.

Have you try your older TTMenu.nds , maybe worth a go.

 

yup, i tried that and it still loaded slowly

 

How long since you last updated fully ?, Because the files had some changes since to cope with freezing at 75% loaded.

 

I last updated a few months ago,but got bored of my ds. Then this morning i decided to play and updated it and thats when it started loading slowly.
It gets stuck at 75% for a while when loading.

 

Yes update with they latest, Root boot loader file and a file in the ttmenu folder maybe ttpatch.dat are r4patch.dat are m3real.dat was also updated, also the second loader was updated.

You did a full update of the 6.81 ?, file's for your card.

Only over answer to it is custom your own extinfo.dat and infolib.dat with games only you like , these file go into the ttmenu folder.

They exseeded a limmet of 1000 titles cause this freezing on laoding of a game, thats why them files had to be edited.

Are maybe you could upload the ttmenu.nds for me to check data ?.

i use R4-SDHC_R4i-SDHC TTMenu

 

I have check his files, and is OK.

Maybe a backup, format of microSD card, and retry firmware , Is all left i could think of .
