Games similar to shining force?

    If anyone remebers the shining force series from the sega console, are there any games which are similar (REALLY similar) to it for the ds? Thanks

    Not sure how the game was on SEGA but there's a shining force for the gba though

    That game is a port of Shining Force 1 on the Sega Genesis and it only adds a bit of stuff

    Shinigami Tensei Devil Summoner had a similar battle system. Everything else was pretty much completely different in terms of story.

    Maybe also looking at Final Fantasy Tactics.

    Its Shin Megami Tensei,and did you mean Devil Survivor?
    Devil Summoner isn't for the DS.

    I thought Devil survivor was unique. It mixes strategy/tactics and old school 1st person turn0based together o_O Final fantasy tactics is probably similar. Maybe luminous arc 1 and 2 would be similar, I guess?

    Thanks, will try those. I've downloaded fire emblem shadow dragon which is probably the closest.
