I'm in the mood for some handheld Diablo action, so what are my options? 1. GBA, GB, GBC, or NDS. 2. FULL ENGLISH 3. I already know of Dungeon Warrior: Explorer of Ancient Arts.. Thanks in advance...
Soma Bringer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwJjVzcZ-KY&feature=related It's (J) but there's a translation patch for it. You choose from 4-6 (can't remember anymore) different classes, each has their own talent trees and wpn specializations. After each playthrough the difficulty goes up and the items get ALOT better. It has 3-4 extra dungeons with 100levels. Imo it's great game if you don't mind the replaying the same missions for better items and gear. (you have to play it through trice to get to the best items.) But the story is worth it to play it atleast once, EDIT* Oh yeah forgot to mention, it's for the NDS
I actually have that one. Or had. I can't remember if it was off my DS and on the computer when we had to do a full system reformat. I don't think it's anything like Diablo, though... Dunno why.
In all my experience, there is nothing all that similar to Diablo available out there. It's a very specific type of RPG that nobody seems to really be willing to mess with. I have yet to play a handheld game that I find to be comparable.
Well, if you count PC, Runic Games made "Torchlight", a direct Diablo clone which plays a lot like Diablo I with the continuously descending staircase. As for the topic, you can try Avalon Code.
I think I've played too many games. I ask for a certain type of game and the only suggestions are either unplayable because I don't know Japanese or I've played them already.
