I got a new compaq laptop for xmas. I know compaq isnt the greatest brand so I hear but I have a Acer as well so yea. The compaq is running windows7 and I dont know how to access the the specs but i know for a fact that it has 2gb ram inside it.

i was thinking games more in the divine divinity area. Kinda like diablo. Not the bigger titles like C.O.D and stuff.

A little personal research can go a long way. Either way, for any suggestions, I recommend using: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/
At least then you won't waste your time buying/downloading/pirating the game just to find out it doesn't work on your machine.

Also, only knowing how much ram it has won't help. Gonna need all of the specs, or at least most of them, to give you legitimate suggestions.

Once you use that site you won't have to ask 'Which games run on my computer'.

Well, if you want PC games, you could try going for games that don't have the big fancy graphics.... Here's a list of stuff you could try (they work on my old '03 never been given a newer graphics card pc, so they SHOULD work on your new laptop). Some of this is free, some of this is not.

    Cave Story
    Aquaria
    5 Days a Stranger
    7 Days a Skeptic
    6 Days a Sacrifice
    Trillby's Notes
    Plants vs Zombies
    Any Myst Game
    Any Touhou game
    Final Fantasy VII
    Final Fantasy VIII
    Bejeweled 3
    Audiosurf
    Roller Coaster Tycoon
    Minecraft

You should be able to run any game released around 2005 or older.

Lap top Intel 1,86 is probably a i3 or near it.
    No GPU as well.

Based on that you surely don't have many options.

And again, check the damm "can I run it" website.
Select a game you may be interested and run it. The site will tell you if you are able to run the game or not.

Lastly, if you like games like diablo II and divine divinity, both of then are classified as "Action RPGs for PC" on gamefaqs.

To check a full list of "Action RPGs for PC" (US) you can see it here http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/list-73?region=1
Like you can see, both games are listed here. You might as well inform yourself in the rest.
