Games and Music DS by Datel Used as an R4

Hello people Im new here and i have a question/problem?
You guys know the R4 for The nintendo DS Right?
Well i hear that you can use the Games and Music Game card by Datel the same way as an R4
the thing is if anyone knows how to do it can you guys tell me?

 

I don't believe so. Though it might be possible using something similar to the max overload method from long ago.

But for a 30 dollar price tag, you are much better off getting a quality flashcart like the Acekard2i, which you can find for 13-20 dollars.

It can't run commercial games, only homebrew.

 

Are you sure because ive seen a video on youtube and the guy was playing a real game not homebrew but a real commercial game

 

The R4 can run .nds (Real games OR homebrew) files. Music can be played (if your card doesn't create 100000000000000000000000000000 directory's T.T (like mine did)) with Moonshell 2.08. If you have Moonshell 2, here's a nice Vista skin for you: Download

It is only a homebrew player and can only run homebrew natively.

 

It will be much easier if you just get a real flashcart designed to play commercial games.

 

I have this, and it's only use is homebrew, not multimedia. It was never designed to be able to run commercial roms, nor does it have the capacity for it.(which is why I retired it/buried it in a pile of electronics) And the 128mb mSD card that comes with it is lol(it's in my phone now)

Just get an AceKard2 and save yourself the hassle:

I couldn't get moonshell working right...I had stupid acc files.


Can anyone post a tutorial or at least a quick start guide for moonshell-all i remember is ram into flash cart, browse for files and play.

 

let me word it like this: Why not just use the Search feature and look for a thread with that topic on what you want?
Saves time for the mods by not having more messages to sift through.

OK well i did some research and the video of the guy playing the full version of new super mario bros on his games n music card is gone or something and well some people say that only games smaller than 4or so mb play successfuly on the games n music so at this point i guess im going to give up and maybe buy an R4 in the future for now ill stick to mah psp haxs but if any of you guys have any extra info on this matter please post in this thread

 

yeah im thinking about it now so if any body has the links that would be greatly apericiated and like i said before if anyone has any info on the R4-GnM thing well yeah post it here i would like as much information that i can get on the matter
