I made this due to an argument with a ps2 user on youtube XD Anyway, I need examples of the BEST looking games on each system. Now-I know about gameplay and all...but that is for another time. What I need are the best examples of power on each system. Here are mine. ps2-god of war 2 GC-resident evil 4 Xbox-halo2 Anyone want to add?
Oh..btw...the argument I made...it was about which was better-the gc is better than the ps2...though some games blured the lines... My theroy on tech specs led me to believe... Dreamcast-ps2-gamecube-xbox-wii. Wii is 128bit-but no matter... So, more examples please ;D
RE 4 looked amazing with on GC expecially with the progressive scan cables... I would also agree with God of War 2 on ps2. I say Ninja Gaiden for Xbox....
Seeing as Final Fantasy XII was already mentioned Shadow of the Colossus, Burnout Revenge Odin Sphere for Playstation 2 as for Gamecube Zelda Twilight Princess or Viewtiful Joe and my choice on XBOX....Fable, Jade Empire or Doom3 Dreamcast...Jet Grind Radio,Soul Calibur, Crazy Taxi Wii...Muramasa The Demon Blade,Super Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime 3
Also to add-incase anyone has doubts... Soul caliber 2 on all 3 systems-notice the differences other than players to use. Resident evil 4-ps2 version has more content only because of disc size...but gamecube looks far better-look at the faces XD
seeing that i dont have a Ps2 or Xbox i woulnt know but on GameCube i would say Zelda: Twilight Princess, Zelda: Wind Waker and Soul Calibur 2
God of War II - GTA: SA - KH2 at Ps2 Resident Evil 4 - Mario Kart at GC Never owned a xbox but Halo should be the best
I have to say, while grand theft auto is a nice game, and really big...it's rather ugly to look at. Mario kart is basic at best-looks shiny but no real "power" being used.
ico is quite impressive graphically (PS2), but if you're trying to compare the systems at the best they're capable of, you really want tech demos. Dreamcast was indeed the most powerful of that generation.
... Sorry but you lost me in the dreamcast part. The dreamcast games that got ported to the gamecube looked far better... Hrm..sorry if I'm skeptic (ico...sounds reasonable...)
