    Hello,

I want to "backup" my Gamecube games, but do I need anything besides a mini DVD-r to play the Roms?
Or do I need a Modchip? anyone with experience?

Thanks for now, but please help!

There is a method to play them via Sd card boot up (a form of soft mod).

    It's called "SD boot".

With that and the special disc-it'll allow you to boot data from a special memory card that uses SDHC (same card as the wii uses) to play gc games-not that from what I read, a 2GB card means only one game at a time can be loaded.

There are a few guides out there-if you are willing to look for it (I have heard it's had to come by) I can link you to a guide.
