Gameboy ROM Copy Device Needed!!

I have a Gameboy/Gameboy Color game I wish to make a ROM of, it is a bootleg cartridge and therefore it is not on any ROM site.

I was wondering if anyone at this site has connections to a device that would allow me to preserve my game.

I have computers with COM, LPT, and USB ports. I have Ubuntu Linux, Windows 98, XP, and Vista. I can pay via Paypal...

 

You will need a device called a Flashlinker to dump the game, that is to create a ROM image copy of your game.

I'm just curious, which game is it, surely RomUlation might have a copy of it.

The ROM is not on this site, no one has dumped it, so I must.

I'm curious as to what it is that you're trying to dump as well. If you supplied us with that information I'm sure someone could probably find the ROM that you're looking for.

 

Will a GBA flash linker dump GBC games?

 

I'm not sure. But you could save yourself time and money by just mentioning the title of the game. I'm sure someone has it somewhere.

Likely. If it can actually load them. If not, then too bad. Regular GB/C linkers are hard to come by these days. I have one which is unbranded and it doesn't work anymore, probably due to my misuse of it when I was younger. I also still have a Game Genie somewhere. Is it a GB or GBC game?

 

He (realg187), PMed me the title of the GBC game he was talking about & it is "Pokemon Jade", I'm pretty sure RomUlation hosts it but not as is. It was bundled in either one of these titles:

Pokemon Blue
Pokemon Red
Pokemon Green or
Pokemon Diamond (Telefang Hack)

The game falls under Hacks category.

Pokemon Jade is a bootleg hack of Keitai Denjuu Telefang: Speed Version & Pokemon Diamond was the bootleg copy of the Telefang Power Version.

RomUlation indeed has a copy of Both Telefang versions, but only has a Copy of Pokemon Diamond & not of Jade.

 

As do all ROM sites, that's why I need to dump it myself...

I know all about those games, just don't have the jade ROM, but I do have the cartridge.
