Gameboy games on dsi xl using lameboy

Hi everyone, I've downloaded lameboy ds 0.12 and was wondering will i be able to play gbc/gba games on the dsi xl? I'll get the dsi xl in 2 weeks time so cant find out just yet.

Any insight would be helpful. I really want this game.

so i can with gbc then? Its just that I've been looking around and it always says you cant play gb games on dsi.

I think when it is possible on the DSi, it must be possible for the DSi XL.

 

I think they meant there isn't a slot-2 (GBA slot) on the DSi (although even the DS and DS Lite can't play GB/GBC games in the slot-2).
But the GB/GBC emulator called Lameboy should work, if you have a flashcart.
