Gameboy Color ROMs: Garbaged Sprites

    I've DLed several GBC ROMs that have garbaged sprites I've posted something similar to this regarding Some GBA titles with the same issues, namely Sims 2 pets, that was remedied by using an updated emu (VBA i.80.603).

    However, nothing happened to the GBC titles, they still had crappy sprites, is this still an emu. issue or are those ROMs just dumprd bad??

    The GBC titles having crap are:

    Simpsons: Nightmare of the Tree house of Horror
    New Batman Adventures Chaos in Gotham
    Buffy the Vampire Slayer
    Nations: Thr Land of Legends
    Addams Family Values (the game also freezes)

    Maybe you're just seeing the GBC's awful graphics.... Try using a emulator other than VirtualBoy
    TGB Dual is specifically for GBC, try that emu : http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/gameboy/tgbdual.html

    I DLed TGB Dual & its positive, some GBC ROMs were dumped crap

    no it isnt, roms are exact copies of the carts, either they work or they dont, there cannot be anything else wrong. Those games must have had crap sprites.

    How about SNES roms? There are some SNES ROMs that were "Bad ROM" dumps

    So I'm guessing the guys who dumps roms are at the mercy of what state the cartridges they use for dumps (hope that made sense lol) sigh

    You're really awesome for helping people out loonylion, really!! I mean finding solutions to the dumbest question to the very technical ones!!

    More power to the Romulation Staff!!!
