Game to rom

    Sat here wondering and thought what is involved in having a shop brought ds game and making it a rom game.
    again I did a search but maybe i am not using the right terminology.

    the process of producing a rom from a game cartridge is known as 'dumping'

    I'm very sorry for the very inappropriate reply to your post loony but it's just so funny ;D

    That's also the slang for pooping, so yeah converting an actual game cartridge to a ROM Image (or an ISO for disc based gaming systems) basically is crapping the game data out of a game cartridge onto a game copier device.

    A nicer term is "data transfer" or "duplication".


    Otherwise people would be wondering why I'm doing soo many "dumps" for :p
