Game recommendation help

    I've done some browsing around and such but I've hit many a dead end so I decided to come to the forums lol.

    What I'm searching for is this, a tactical rpg that functions similar to the FFT series but of course isn't that series. I like job systems and hiring recruits and such but I'm just having trouble finding any others out there.

    Of course the system I'd prefer it for is the DS but any is fine since I like the style of game enough.
    Thanks in advance!.

    EDIT: oh and the game should be preferably english or at least have some kind of decent english patch to allow me to actually play without getting confused beyond all reason lol.

    Ooo a new summon night?

    playing rune factory 1 and won't get 2 till i finish and can't wait for 3 to be english so i'll be able to look forward to that too
    FF3/6 is probably my most favorite of the entire series
    TWEWY I haven't gotten around to yet
    Chrono Trigger is an ace game
    and the other 5 i'll look into ^-^ I like getting game recommendations, especially with this sites extensive database lol, kinda daunting if you are just browsing about lol

    Nope,
    that Summon Night is an old game, although I heard some rumor about a new game of that series,

    and yes,
    the FF6/3 is a good game, hoping that they will make lots of improvement than the snes version. ;D

    and...
    the 3rd title of Luminous Arc will be released next year.

    oh i must be behind then, no surprise there though lol XD;

    and luminous arc is an interesting series actually, lol i realized i downloaded number 1 just yesterday ^-^ i wouldn't mind playing more installments of that, it's nice when good series actually continue well lol
