Do you have a Flashcart currently? Like an R4, M3, Acekard, etc?

If so you can use homebrew programs to copy games and game saves from real game cartridges, then you can use Pokesav to modify your save file. But you cannot modify actual game cartridges games, only the save files.

    Take a look at http://www.romhacking.net/

I don't think there are any easy to use programs that will let you modify Pokemon Diamond/Pearl but there may be some older Pokemon game hackers out there. It is possible to modify the NDS file, and create a new game, even without a program. But it is much harder to do.

Just so you know, once you do modify an NDS file, you cannot load it onto a real game cartridge, only on a flashcart or emulator.

Here are some cartridge backup tools for backing up NDS and SAV files from real game cartridges.
